A: 4 years
Q: Are you a virgin?
A: Yes
Q: Define purity or what it means to you.
A: Purity is keeping your mind as well as your body away from sexual things, such as lusting, porn,…..anything physical( kissing maybe).
Q: How important is purity in the opposite sex?
A: It is important, but if she has screwed up, as long as she continues to strive for purity is what counts. Its jut as important for guys as it is for girls.
Q: Is purity a priority in your life?
A: Yeah, it is. It’s harder for a guy to focus on purity because guys definitely focus on sex more as a society, which means it should be a bigger priority even though it’s a bigger struggle. I have to focus on it more than I would some other area of sin.
Q: How does our society view purity?
A: Our society views purity as abstinence, which means you could have oral sex and still be saving your self. They view sex as the only thing that’s impure. They portray women as something to be consumed.
Society says: Women control Men with your sexuality, and Men objectify Women for their sexuality.
Q: Why do you think God has called us to be pure?
A: God wants u to be pure because intimacy isn’t just physical, its spiritual. Sex is a covenant, so you are spiritually tied with the person you do sexual things with. God doesn’t want us to be sexually tied with many people, just your spouse and God.

A: Yep
Q: Define purity or what it means to you?
A: To me it means more than not having sex, its living your life by Christ’s guidelines.
Q: How important is purity in the opposite sex?
A: 100%
Q: Is purity a priority in your life?
A: Yea, it’s a matter of respect because even people in the world hear you’re a virgin and respect you for it.
Q: How does our society view purity?
A: It’s not important because the more people you sleep with the higher status you have.
Q: Why do you think God has called us to be pure?
A: It’s not only important for marriage, but if you’re not being pure, you’re sinning and being separated from God.

A: 1 ½ years
Q: Are you a virgin?
A: no
Q: Define purity or what it means to you.
A: Purity is living separate from world and abstaining from sexual things and other sins.
Q: How important is purity in the opposite sex?
A: Very important. As Christians guy should be pure, and be looking for the same thing in a girl.
Q: Is purity a priority in your life?
A: Yeah. I make sure I avoid things I shouldn’t be around, like I have accountability program on my computer.
Q: How does our society view purity?
A: Very low. People don’t care, whether they’re Christians or non Christians. Even if Christians say they do care about purity, their lives show that they really don’t.
Q: Why do you think God has called us to be pure?
A: Well, everything that’s impure is related to sin so we need to be separate from the world and pick up our cross. The hardest things to keep away from violate our purity so if we stay away from them, we show our commitment to God.

A:Living a life for God by being a true Christian and living only for Him.
Q: How important is purity in the opposite sex?
A:Very important! A girl should be able to say to a guy, “I have waited for marriage.”
Q: Is purity a priority in your life?
A: Yes, because I want to be able to give that to my wife, and being a Christian, I want to show people that I live a life for God by being pure.
Q: How does our society view purity?
A: They feel if you want it you can have it, but if you don’t that’s fine. Purity is not important or valued. They agree with the, don’t have sex part but they don’t care about everything else. You can be a recycled virgin.
Q: Why do you think God has called us to be pure?
A: Because God is pure and the definition of Christianity is to be Christ like.

A: Purity is staying clear from all around sin.
Q: How important is purity in the opposite sex?
A: Important, a young lady should stand firm against the pressure.
Q: Is purity a priority in your life?
A: I’m working towards it
Q: How does our society view purity?
A: Poor.

A: Its not much to ask from people compared to what he went through, and we should follow his example

What do guys think about Purity? Have you ever wondered that, girls? Well we have the answer!!!! We have interviewed different boys in our youth group about what they’re perspectives on purity are, and everyday this week we will be posting a different guys answers. All the guys we are interviewing are Christian, between the ages of 14-25, and are from different walks of life. So they are a pretty good representation of our generation. I hope you find this weeks posts interesting and please give us some feedback.
